9GAG is a social network that allows users to post GIFs, photos, and videos. The company was founded in 2009 as a texting app for iOS before moving onto the Android platform in 2015. 9GAG remains one of the most popular platforms for posting memes and content around the web.

9GAG has been acquired by Yahoo! Inc (NASDAQ: YHOO) in 2012, with the acquisition being completed on January 28, 2014. This deal gave Yahoo! ownership over all intellectual properties and user data from 9GAG’s predecessor, Grouper.com.

Freelancer Pro is a paid service for freelancers to post gigs and get paid. It’s similar to its competitor oDesk in that both connect companies with skilled workers. However, the difference is that Freelancer Pro only connects to freelancers who are registered members of the site, while oDesk allows anyone to post work.

Upwork Ltd is a subscription-based paid service for hiring remote employees. This includes four options: Enterprise (for companies with over 500 employees), Professional (for companies with 50–500 employees), Small Team (for smaller teams of two–five people), and Individual (for individuals).

The UDP is an open-source software development program that allows companies to hire developers for their projects using credits on Upwork’s platform.

6. Google

Google has been using Vue since the beginning of 2018. The search engine giant first announced that it was using Vue in January 2018, as a way to overhaul its user interface for the Android and iOS mobile apps. At the time, Google said that it would be moving from React Native to Vue.js for its mobile app development efforts.

Google also used Vue at its I/O conference this year to present a demo of an experimental product called Cardboard with Mounted Camera, which allows users to capture 360-degree videos with smartphones equipped with 3D cameras such as the Samsung Gear VR or Google Daydream headset.
